Inspired.

SOOOOOOOOOOO inspired.

Today I watched a video of an awesome lecture. I wanted to find the video and upload it here, but my keywords only gave me videos like "Brandon and Rachel's Wedding", or "K' Naan's (insert name of random song)". Very sickening because I really wanted to show you all the video badly. Like really badly.

Endured 12 hours in school today, with more than half that time spent at breaks. It was a nice change as I was forced to wake up early. Waking up early always makes me feel like I'm living my life to the fullest, cuz the day starts earlier and I always feel that I'm accomplishing much more.

One new thing I learnt this week:

Self-control works like a muscle. If you exercise too much self-control on one task, your ability to exercise self-control on another task diminishes. That's why during exams (when you need to exercise lots of self-control to make yourself sit down for a few hours straight to study), you find it harder to go on a diet (another task which requires a lot of self-control), or to exercise (which, maybe to me only HAHA, needs a lot of self-control). But the good news is that like a muscle, self-control can be trained. Meaning with training, you could have more self-control, ie your ability to exercise self-control increases. (:
