Stop. Falling. Sick.

I think I should get a loyalty card from the doctor, whereby I earn a stamp for every consultation and for every 3 stamps I earn, I get a free consultation. The number of times I am falling sick is getting too ridiculous!

I love to fall sick.

The updated 4-Chord Song! I think I posted the older version a long time ago. I think they are really talented. Haha.

It's recess week! Finally! But I spent the first two days getting sick. After work on Sat, I went to ti deng long (carry lanterns, for the benefit of the only reader from US who can't read hanyu pinyin) with my JC classmates and we had lots of fun doing light painting and taking weird photographs. Yes, the drawing with sparklers thing is called light painting.

But at 5.44am (I noted the time), I suddenly woke up cuz of this urge to puke. And I was shivering in bed. Then I rushed to the toilet and puked. It was a really terrible feeling, but I didn't dare to wake my family up. So I washed up and went to bed. The next morning I had to cancel all my tuition and go to the doctor. And the whole of Sunday was spent being groggy and not knowing what's happening around me most of the time. Haha.

I love being sick because it gives you an excuse to not do work. But that means having to do more on other days. Still, being sick gives you a good excuse to truly rest, i.e. laze around and not do anything. :D

Quick update before I go for work.

I think I really need to have a break on Fridays. Lesson learnt: Don't plan lessons on Fridays. I need the rest badly for work on Sat.

Realman Dontslang has grown to be a real man but he sort of shrunk. I am very upset about it. But I think that makes him a merman, since he has to stay in water to remain big. I'll post pictures another time, if I remember. So I think I have to change his name to Realman Dontshrink. But that's a little suggestive, according to a friend.

Whenever I am very bothered by school (not stressed, just bothered by the amount of work we have to do), I think of the CUHK days when everything was so slack. I kind of forgotten that tests weren't supposed to be so easy, and having quiz after quiz after quiz is the norm. I hope I can get things together again this recess week. Argh.

And yes, I'll be ending the week with the Hossan Leong show! :D Mega happy about it! YAY. Oh, I watched The Lion King at MBS with family that day and it was good! Until I realised how expensive the tickets were. After a special staff discount, each ticket still cost $90. But it was worth it, I think. (Trying to reduce the dissonance)

The Gift.

My first soft toy from a male. HAHAHAHA. Boy give one leh! Woohoo~~

Okay, it was a Teachers' Day gift. I was happy although 1) I don't like hugging soft toys (I always picture kids drooling over them/throwing them on the floors of Kiddy Palace before some innocent customer picks up the toy and buys it) and 2) I have no place to put it at home (cuz as you probably cannot see from the picture, it is quite big). But it's really my first time receiving a soft toy (I think, if you don't count the small Spongebob Yx and friends gave me from Australia), from a boy somemore! Okay if he was a real man I would be happier.

Speaking of real man, Realman is full grown now. So people can stop making jokes about him like "Oh, put him into the ocean, he will become an even bigger man!" (Samson Cheung, 2011). My mum was like, "What if in the middle of the night Realman suddenly screams 'Let me out! Let me out!'?" She's taking it too seriously, really. She told me she helped me change the water and I was like uhhhhh, why? Then she said cuz the water has been there for very long already (i.e. 1 day) and it looks dirty. I think she just wants to play with Realman.

So I have transferred Realman into another capsule which I can bring out! Yippee!

Realman Dontslang.

This is the toy I bought from a bazaar at NUS last week! It cost me $5 but it was all for a good cause. The proceeds go to Northlight School. Guess what's so special about the toy!

Give you a hint!

HAHA, according to the instructions, when you add water to it, it will turn into a prince! :D WOOHOO. Just what I needed! A real prince! There was also this ugly duckling --> swan one but who cares about swans. But when you first add water to it, it will foam and after a few minutes, the prince will appear. You are supposed to pour the water away and then add in new water. Then the prince will grow into a real man! There was a message behind it too--Transformation takes time.

There! My frog staring happily at you after I added water into it! :D Then its eye started to drop, and the skin started to disintegrate. Too gross so no pictures. The water also became green.

There! On 01/09/2011, the little prince appeared! But I'll have to wait 3 days for it to become a real man. I checked this morning and the prince didn't look too good haha so I feel a little cheated. But I hope it grows big and strong.

I've also decided on a name for my prince. I'm going to name it after the brother of this ABC I met at summer school. He's Herman, so I'll name my prince Realman. Realman Dontslang.

When Realman becomes a real man, I'll post a photo of him again! :D
