End of Week 2 Post.

It's the end of Week 2, but I've only attended one class for each of the module I've taken. Reason being 2 of my classes fell on Monday which was a public holiday, and I fell sick the day before my class on Thursday so I had to miss it. Had something like food poisoning, whereby I felt so bloated the whole night and eventually vomited twice before I went to see the doctor. Doctor said, "A year ago you came to see me for the exact same problem." HAHA. Can't stand myself. I haven't gotten flu/fever/sore throat for some time already, but I can't help it if it's vomit leh. Then again I've recovered already. Plus point is I got to sleep a lot and slack legitimately.

Sick of the status quo. Needs to look forward to something, preferably in Dec. But when I look at my bank account and think of my great plans to visit Taiwan for my grad trip, I dare not make plans. That day I started calculating the amount of money I got to pay NUS and it was OMG much. Scary. :/ Man has unlimited wants but limited money.

My phone is smart

No school today. Woke up at 9am and it was raining but I couldn't get to sleep. So I've been awake for the past 3 hours and did nothing constructive. Watched 2 episodes of kangxi, cooked my own lunch (cuz it was raining heavily) and then played some games on my phone (woohoo! love having a smart phone!). Perhaps I should study a little. Then again, my readings have not been assigned yet so there's nothing much I can do.

I watched an episode of kangxi a few days ago whereby they made the guests showcase their notebooks. Some of them can doodle very nicely and I was inspired to write something that myself. Like doodle a little and reflect on my day. We'll see if it works and if it helps improve my drawing haha. I've always admired people who could draw cute things. It's one of the gender stereotypes that people have of females, like they must be able to draw super cute things. This makes females like me in an awkward position. I'm glad at least I have reasonably nice handwriting.

It gets awkward when some people don't know about it yet and they talk about it. Yesterday I was at the know-the-angmohs programme and I wanted to leave. I bade farewell to one of my male friends and he told the exchange students that I 'jia ren you yue'. It wasn't an appropriate time/place/situation to tell him, and he continued teasing me for a while. Ahhh, if you know it please spread it like wildfire. I feel bad when people feel awkward.

On brighter news, downloading lots of apps on my phone makes me super happy! :D May things just keep getting better.

HAPPY START OF SEM!

Happy shirt to start a happy sem!

HELLO! A new semester has started, and I never thought I would feel this happy and this ready for it. I'm in year 4, doing seemingly more difficult modules but I feel so powerful now I can kill monsters. It happened to be my free day today (I hope no more if I can get this other module I want) so I went to buy stationery to for the new sem. I know it's a bit late haha but better late than never! Then I realised I don't actually need stationery but I got a yellow marker and a ruler anyway.

And it's August! We're halfway passed 2012! I don't even know if I've made any resolutions haha. Thinking back, the only things I remember doing is learning Bahasa Indo. And that's about it. I shall aim to do something out of my comfort zone again, possibly in December? I don't want life to slip back into monotony again (not saying it's extremely exciting now). And Samson update more more more, I wanna know all about Taiwan.

Either way, have a good sem! Or a good next half of the year! There are still 4.5 months before the year ends, make the most out of it! :D

Graduation card.

I think all my cards look the same HAHA. But I recently became interested in buying stickers and I think I've spent $10 on them already. Not a lot compared to other people but I think it's a lot for me. I could eat so much more things with $10. Like a naan buffet. Or a porridge buffet (Which costs $9.30 after + +). But school's starting soon and I won't be able to spend time doing such things (i.e. making cards) so while I'm free and in the mood, might as well do it. Why such a long paragraph to explain a card, you may ask. Wanna know the secret? Well, I'm not telling you!

Life has been great. Happy things happen and makes me feel happy though I don't really have 8 hours of sleep everyday. Like Phelps winning Gold. Or US team winning gymnastics. Or Singapore winning a bronze. Or maybe more important things than that. HAHAHAHA. Such as Samson coming to Singapore. Or maybe Samson leaving Singapore finally. Kidding, Samson, you know we miss youuuuuu. And please keep updating about Taiwan, with pictures preferably.

Modules wise, I am doing crap next sem but I'm not feeling too angry/annoyed/sick/sad/frustrated yet. Because think happy and positive things will happen. Think happy thoughts! *v (^_^) v* OMG I HAVE RESORTED TO USING MANY SYMBOLS TO MAKE AN EMOTICON. LIKE AN ACT CUTE. Can't stand it.
