My Group Project.

The most exciting group project I've ever been given.

HAHA. The module is called 'Group Dynamics', so we have to get into groups with people we don't know and do an activity together. We can choose any activity, as long as it is interactive. And at the end of it, we will write a report on our experience and apply concepts of group dynamics to it.

Sounds very fun! :D

Finding out about the self.

When I was younger, I remember once I wasn't feeling well and I kept quiet about it. Then my mum asked me to help her do some stuff. Until I couldn't take it anymore and finally told her, "Can't you tell that I am sick?" And she replied, "If you didn't say, how would I know?"

From then on, I learnt I am attention seeking but I don't want to appear attention seeking. I call myself a 'Secret Attention Seeker'. It's something like in my head I'm screaming "Listen to me!! Look at me!!" but on the surface I'm like, "It's okay..."

Maybe it's just my transition stage. Or maybe the transition stage is just a convenient excuse. In the meantime, you all just have to bear with it. HAHA. Told you I am attention seeking!

Random thoughts on the long ride home.

1. I lack the ability to write emo status updates.

2. I lack the guts to write emo status updates.

3. I lack the courage to write emo blog posts.

4. I feel like I should stop allowing myself to be made used of/taken advantage of.

5. No one is interested in my story. And I find myself being unable to tell anyone.

This sucks.

Get back to reality.

School has started. Being a Year 3 feels...weird. On one hand, I feel very happy looking at Year 1s look lost (HAHAHAHA) and looking at familiar and not-so-familiar new faces around school is interesting. On the other hand, everything is going according to expectations and things are so predictable. It's almost like a routine--I know how lecture is going to be like, how I have to bid for my tutorials, how everyone has to grumble about their timetable, how everyone has to complain about the amount of readings we get. So much so that it gets a bit boring? Maybe not boring, but there's nothing for me to look forward to when I go to school so it feels a little weird.

But I have to remind myself to get back to reality, that despite the fact that my CAP isn't going to shoot sky high (another sian thing about being a Year 3, but good thing is it won't go ground low too), I still have to study. And find out where I want to go from here, or where all these are going to lead me to. It's like a mid-course crisis, except that it's not really a crisis. Maybe it's just a minor adjustment I have to get used to. Just like how my 8am lesson must be at U-Town (I still don't get it!), I have to adjust to all these.

On a happier note (in the midst of the confused notes), I finally watched Harry Potter with my sis last weekend. And it all comes to an end. I'm not a HP fan so I don't feel anything (Maybe just, YES I CAN FINALLY STOP SPENDING MONEY ON HARRY POTTER MOVIES!) but I still remember watching the first movie with my primary school classmates. And it's like if you've watched Part 1, you got to watch Part 2 and Part 3 and Part 4 and so on. So I just happened to watch all the movies in the series though I don't remember half the story lines. And I watched the Rise of the Planet of the Apes too! It has been some time since I watched movies. :D

Ohoh! And I have Whatsapp now. I can't believe I am being so tech-savvy. But since I don't have data plan, the only time I can Whatsapp is when there is Wifi. And most of the time I am at home. So I don't know why we can't fb chat/MSN/Skype instead. HAHA. Then again, it's time to come out of my cave into the cool world of iPhone apps. So we'll see how this Whatsapp thing goes.

Back, and alive.

Sunrise in school at 5.20am. I'll miss CUHK!

This is just to tell you I am back, and school is starting, and I feel senior and powerful looking at Year 1s fumble and panic. HAHAHAHAHAHA. And Utown reminds me of my school in HK. Anyway, NUS is like a mini Singapore and that makes Utown the Sentosa. Still must cross a bridge to reach. But good news is, you don't have to pay $3.

And I still have a problem to solve. How NOT to take cab home every Friday after lecture at 10pm. ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.
