Merry Christmas! :D The Santa looks like he's having fun on top of the turkey (which, by the way, was the most awesome turkey I've ever eaten).
It has been a while since I've blogged. Actually not thatttttt long but I feel bad for you who refresh this page 138924 times a day so I decided to update! Anyway, there's nothing particularly exciting that you need to know about my life. But if you insist on knowing, this is what I've been doing:
1. Singing K for the 1000th time with MOF3 at slightly-sleazy-but unlimited-as-long-as-no-one-books and it-was-so-unlimited-we-sang-till-830pm-and-left-cuz-we-were-too-hungry place, and then being unable to go home cuz everyone was stranded when the NS line had problems and finally eating dinner at 1130pm.
2. Christmas party, whereby games were awesome (WHAHAHA cuz I googled them) and food was awesome. And gift exchange which was not-so-awesome. But ride to the nearest MRT was awesome cuz for once we needn't take cab out of that place.
3. Going to NUS to plan things for the angmohs. Which I shall not elaborate on since you are not interested and it doesn't value-add to your life if you knew what I did haha.
4. Dinner meet ups. Which have been pleasant. And Christmas card making session. Which was helpful if not I would not have any cards to send out.
5. Meeting up with HK peeps for lunch and Minds Cafe. Spilling drinks since they were free flow. OKAY NO IT WAS AN ACCIDENT I SWEAR. Playing games involving dinosaur bones. Realising that we could use that to play dog and bone.
Okay it's Christmas Eve and I don't feel the Christmas mood because every year my Christmas falls on the day we have our Christmas party. HAHA. And this year it ended sooooo early so it feels like Christmas is over. I still have a family gathering on Christmas Day itself and I can't wait for it cuz it's a nice reunion plus kids get gifts. BUTTTTTTT I'm working on the eve of Christmas. Yes in about 9hours time I'll be working. :s
I kind of like this slacking lifestyle I've been leading. I've finally found time to start reading novels again (mostly cuz I really really really want to finish The Time Traveler's Wife but no I'm nowhere near finishing it because of reasons which I'll mention after this bracket) but I've started reading this series about this professional psychic who helps in solving crimes and stuff. I don't know why but I am going crazy over it. I've finished all the books in the series which I can find in my little Yishun library and I've resorted to reading another series about ghostbusting. Which sounds like crap but makes me feel really really scared I don't know why! :s I mean, it's not that the ghosts are scary or anything like that. Okay maybe they are but I know that in the end the ghost will be captured in some way or another but I'm still scared. (No I'm not pretending to be a damsel in distress HAHHAHAHAHHA). Ah, why am I telling you all these. Maybe cuz I met this volunteer for know-the-angmohs on the bus today and she asked me what I was reading and I told her I was reading some murder story. She seemed really interested to know but I felt...uh, maybe embarrassed to share? I don't know, I just have this fear that she might find what I was reading a bit childish/lame. But hey, I borrowed it from the Adult section kay. (Enters defensive mode for no reason) LOL. I love it when I act out my life in my head.
That paragraph was getting too long and I hate long paragraphs so I'm gonna end here and go to sleep. Hopefully, I won't feel like strangling the kids tomorrow.
