I couldn't help but feel that it's karma.
Really, 有因必有果. Actions have consequences. Japan killed so many in WWII, and it might just be karma.
I am not saying that:
1) Japan deserves it.
2) The victims deserve to die.
3) The people deserve to suffer.
Neither am I gloating over Japan getting its retribution.
Just that, it was the only thing on my mind when I watch news/clips of the destructions. 不是不报,时辰未到. Dad agreed. Mum didn't. She said it is ridiculous--those who were involved in the war had already died and reincarnated 102819 times. But for harm to befall when Japan developing so well, surely it must mean something.
I felt sadder during the Sichuan Earthquake/the tsunami that hit Aceh. This time, I think it is something very tragic but I don't feel the sadness.
Don't know, could just be that I am cold and unfeeling.
P.S. I am sorry that I cannot stand up for you, contact friend.
