to stop whole-heartedly believing whatever a man tells you. Especially when they tell you they are "going to wait for you". Cuz it's bullshit. They never wait. No one waits for anyone. Everyone moves on.
Because if they really want to wait for you, they will show it to you. I'm sure you don't need me to remind you that action speaks louder than words. So stop falling into the same old trap, please. Save yourself!
And no, no one offended me. It's just one of those things I hear and felt like I had to share. We all need reminders from time to time, because sometimes we are so blinded that we fail to see the big picture. I know it's hard--it's always hard, but I think these serve as good reminders for everyone, including myself. HAHA.
Experienced a 心痛的感觉 today, because I just bought another textbook. I spent a lot of money on textbooks, and this is illogical because I only bought 1 first-hand book this sem. There is a module which requires 3 textbooks (I don't know how I can finish them) and it costs me ~$130 and it's second-hand luh! The one I bought today was $79 after discount. :S
I haven't written a really long post for quite some time I think. And my new media experience with Twitter is terrible. Partly because I have no data plan so the only times I can tweet is when I am in the public library or at McDonalds. I can't connect to the wireless in school because it keeps telling me I need Opera and I downloaded Opera 1293190890 times only to be told I still need Opera. WHAT IS OPERA LAH YOU TELL ME.
Okay end of post. Too tired. I feel like an 80-year-old.

if u watched How I met your mother, this is what they call a "Hooker and a Hookee" relationship. hahaha.
The "Hooker" keeps a person around, never committing to him/her, but like a spare tyre, "just in case"
The "Hookee" is hooked by the "Hooker", well, because he/she is delusional about their future together.
