Act Busy on Laptops.

According to statistics, 48.1% of people are not actually Busy when they put their status as Busy on Instant Messaging (which I believe is MSN). Do you belong to the 48.1%? I was kind of puzzled as to why people would want to act busy--I mean, you go on MSN so that people can talk to you right? Why would you go online and be busy and never available? I can understand if it's for a project or something like that, but there are some who are forever Busy.

That statistics (I don't know if you can see) was on 19Oct's My Paper. Study done by some NUS prof from Communications and New Media I think. :D

Anyway, I realised it's not nice to call angmohs 'angmoh', so I'm going to use a socially understood term--Others. Like Chinese, Malay, Indian, Others you know. Too much of Socio-o-logy. I have this Other friend (pun pun, did you catch that? does seeing know what is a pun yet?) whose laptop is from her country, Germany. And it's really cool cuz the Control key is labelled in German, the symbols are slightly different, the position of keys are slightly different. And I was staring at my laptop today, and I realised why my laptop looks so wide.

It's because...

I have the number pad! :O

I just realised it you know. I was struggling to use the arrow keys to play Waka-Waka on Facebook (my uncle broke my highscore, pffffffft) cuz according to seeing, I have fat fingers. Fine, I said so myself, but she constantly reminds me of it and now I am very concious of it. Stop staring at my fingers, even as you read this post I can sense you trying to see my fingers. So now with the realisation that there IS actually a number pad, I can play Waka-Waka more happily! Whee!

Projects are due so so soon, and it's really scary. I don't want to cause tutees to suffer because of this, yet I can't be irresponsible towards my project mates. :(

By the way, Ah Sin, you better reply my email soon. I wanted to tell you today for my lecture we watched 'Ye Shang Hai' 's MV and I thought of you! And then we watched the 'Shang Hai Tan' song (called The Bund for some reason, I'm going to learn how to sing that so we can go K when you come back!) and I thought of you again! It's canto lor, and I kept screaming out the words like 'yat' and 'ngoi' to Val to show off my Canto till she said Stop it. LOL. I <3 my modules.

MOF2 signs off. I'm going to type an email to Miss Ter soon, anyone got anything to say to her? (:
