My grandma called me a few days ago. She sounded so excited I couldn't properly hear what she was saying, but it was funny. She told me about this phone call she received, and she couldn't stop laughing as she recounted the incident.
G: Grandma, D: Don't know who.
G: Hello?
D: Ah ma...Save me...Ah ma, quick save me... *sobs*
G: Who are you?
D: I'm Chew Lam, Ah Ma, quick save me...
G: Orh, are you going to be hacked by loansharks or something?
D: Yah, Ah Ma, save me... Bring me money...
G: Oh, okay. Hope they hack you to death, byebye.
That didn't sound funny did it?
Well, the funny thing is, Chew Lam is my GRANDPA. LOL LOL LOL. My grandpa calling my grandma "Ah Ma". Isn't it funny!
I just paid NUS 10bucks at the ATM. Decided not to pay for NTU yet cuz the queue was long and people were tsk-ing me. .______. What, I can't help it wad. I already tried my best to type the numbers very very fast leh. :(
I decided to watch Samsoon again. (: It makes me very happy. And maybe Full House too, though it's rather draggy. Grandma doesn't have new funny Korean Dramas to recommend. :( She made me watch Samsoon after my Sec4 Prelims, and me totally didn't regret it.
AND SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELEEEEEEEEK, when are we going outttttttttttt. BUSY WOMAN.
Amazing enough, not many people are online now. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe people just love to go out when it rains. I thought people usually stay at home when it rains.
Oh, and REAL ESTATE IS FUN LAH. I'm addicted to it. It's much more meaningful than Warbook/Pet Society. But I think I'll get sick of it soon. I better ask Ah Sin to play too so that I can try to beat his score and continue playing the game. Someone, intro me more games on Facebook please! And everyone reading this who does not have Facebook, with the exception of GYM Soh, please go create an account so that we can be fwends. GYM Soh won't create it, so he's not our fwend.
Perfect Cut is finally over. I can watch HK Dramas again! :D
I've made a few trips to the library these few days. ALONE. Loner me. :( Anyway, I'm glad school holidays are going to be over cuz the noisy kids won't be able to irritate me in the library. Eh, I thought library is supposed to be condusive place for reading lor. Why got kids screaming like nobody's business ah.
A man came to me when I was sitting at Macs ALONE again (yes, loner me, go on, laugh at me). He did some actions and dropped me a piece of paper with 4 numbers and made some noises. Simply put, he wanted me to give him some money. I didn't give it to him in the end. I felt quite bad actually, but I didn't like the way he asked me for money. He stayed there for some time and I repeatedly shook my head, implying that I didn't want to give him money.
That day when we dinnered at Chinatown, this woman came to our table and asked if we wanted to buy tissue. None of us bought it from her. Timothy made a comment along the lines of "If she was old or disabled, I would buy it from her. But she can work, she can find a job, so I don't think there's a need for me to buy it from her." I didn't comment on that comment, because Timothy doesn't want to flirt with me! OKAY, no. I mean, I kind of disagree. So what if she looked healthy? I don't think people sell tissue for no reason. Like, you don't go out one fine day and tell your friend, HEY, LET'S COMPETE TO SEE WHO CAN SELL MORE TISSUE! She might look healthy, but she might be facing some problems so she can't do shift work? She might be unemployable after a long long time and forced to earn money this way? I don't know. I feel that as long as one is earning money with his bare hands, putting in hard work and not cheating others, it's acceptable. And whether you want to buy it from her is up to you. She persuaded you to buy, but she didn't force you. You can choose to say no and she'll leave quietly.
In the past, I promised myself to help these people when I start earning money. I make it a point to buy such tissue from the old man selling tissue or to donate to the blind man playing nice songs at least once a week. I try my best to keep my promise. There used to be an old couple selling tissue at the underpass, and I only bought tissue from them a couple of times. I felt bad, because as a student, I didn't have much pocket money left to help them. They are no longer there now.
MOF2 here, GYM SOH, you can read this post over and over again. But buy some tissue kay, people?
