No school today. Woke up at 9am and it was raining but I couldn't get to sleep. So I've been awake for the past 3 hours and did nothing constructive. Watched 2 episodes of kangxi, cooked my own lunch (cuz it was raining heavily) and then played some games on my phone (woohoo! love having a smart phone!). Perhaps I should study a little. Then again, my readings have not been assigned yet so there's nothing much I can do.
I watched an episode of kangxi a few days ago whereby they made the guests showcase their notebooks. Some of them can doodle very nicely and I was inspired to write something that myself. Like doodle a little and reflect on my day. We'll see if it works and if it helps improve my drawing haha. I've always admired people who could draw cute things. It's one of the gender stereotypes that people have of females, like they must be able to draw super cute things. This makes females like me in an awkward position. I'm glad at least I have reasonably nice handwriting.
It gets awkward when some people don't know about it yet and they talk about it. Yesterday I was at the know-the-angmohs programme and I wanted to leave. I bade farewell to one of my male friends and he told the exchange students that I 'jia ren you yue'. It wasn't an appropriate time/place/situation to tell him, and he continued teasing me for a while. Ahhh, if you know it please spread it like wildfire. I feel bad when people feel awkward.
On brighter news, downloading lots of apps on my phone makes me super happy! :D May things just keep getting better.
