Arty Farty.

I went to take a look at the Art and the Law themed (free) exhibitions one fine day, because I was so intrigued when I saw the (free and) interesting exhibition titles. One of it was called America the Gift Shop. You would have seen it if you had gone to ION Orchard, but chances are that you didn't bother to go in. HAHA. So I'm going to share some EXCLUSIVE photos with you, the rest are on fb if you are interested (bet you aren't anyway).

Basically, the first line of the information sheet writes, 'If George Bush's foreign policy had a gift shop, what will it sell?'. Something along those lines. And this is one of my favourite exhibits, esp the last one that says 'Wish you were here!'. The whole mini exhibition depicts the thoughts of the artist on the Iraq War, in a very creative and inspiring manner.

And this blinking at the entrance to the exhibition: Regions Destablised--While you wait!

Blogger is so not low-tech-photo-posting-bloggers-wannabe friendly, so I'm going to post one last photo and that's it.
I also went to the other one called 'The Last Meal' at the link from CityLink to the Esplanade. The artist's intention was to make one think about the death penalty by portraying the last meals of some of the criminals on death row. If you were to think in terms of psychology, it might tell you something about the person too. There were people who chose to merely eat a packet of candies, some chose a meal of lobster tail, a drink and completed with strawberry cheesecake. My favourite was a meal of "Justice, Equality and World Peace". ):

If you were to eat your last meal, what would it consist of? Mine probably Cheesecake, Mocha Ice Blended with big pearls. It's always nice to live your last moments sweetly. (:

Have been tired like mad, I don't know what I'm doing with my life. And tutorials are starting so soon. Yucks.
