HIGH.

I am high cuz Seeing tagged. HAHAHAHAHAHA. And I shall write another post here!

This afternoon, I was rushing to a tuition class. Okay, maybe not rushing, cuz I had about 30mins to make my way there and it'll take me a mere 10mins bus ride. And I hate arriving at classes early cuz I'll don't want to benefit them too much. Haha. Okay, so yes, I was at the bus interchange anyway, and there's this group of (?) at the interchange. They have been there for about 2 weeks or so, ever ready to pounce on the next victim. Yesterday, I nearly became a victim if not for my inability to sign whatever they want me to sign for. I was not 21 yet, I confesed that my mum took charge of all my savings for fixed deposits/investments/whatever, my mother wasn't with me, I wasn't earning much. So the convo was something like:

Man from (?) group - ?
MOF2 - M

?: Oh hi, are you 21 yet?
M: No. I'm only 19.
?: Schooling?
M: Waiting for A Level results.
?: Oh, I see. So are you earning any money now? Doing part time jobs like tutoring?
M: Yes. (I don't lie.)
?: Oh, so how much do you save per month?
M: Uh, about 200? (More if the agent didn't snatch away half of my pay mercilessly. Anyway, I am not sure if this number is real. LOL.)
?: Okay, so what are you saving for?
M: Uni.
?: Do you think saving will be enough? Are you going to take up a bank loan or something like that?
M: Probably.
?: Who's going to get the loan? You or your parents?
M: (Wanted to say my Ah ma, but I really never thought about it.) Uh, depends on whether I can get into a uni in the first place.
?: Oh I see. (looks kinda stuck) So do you have any savings plan or anything?
M: My mum is in charge of all that.
?: Oh, so I guess if you were to sign up anything, your mum will be the decision maker?
M: Yes.
?: Ohhh. Uh, I see. Uh. Yeah. (looks very stuck) Well. Okay I guess.

HAHA! I have never seen a (?) person so stuck before! LOL LOL LOL. Like really really stuck. But I was telling the truth leh. .____.

So today, they were there as usual, waiting to attack the vulnerable. I walked through them, and I was nearing the end of the danger zone when this other (?) person came up to me.

Man from (?) group - !
MOF2 - M

!: Hi! Are you 21!
M: AH, I DID THIS YESTERDAY. THE MAN ASKED ME IF I WERE 21 AND I SAID NO AND HE ASKED ME LOTS OF QUESTIONS AND GAVE UP FINALLY.
!: Oh, uh, then did he ask you to do anything?
M: NO, I TOLD HIM MY MUM WAS IN CHARGE OF MY FINANCES AND HE LOOKED KIND OF STUCK. (I wanted to add "LIKE YOU!" but it would be evil.)
!: Oh, okay, then can you help me do a survey? I need 10 people a day but I've only got 1 today.
M: (I AM A NICE PERSON!) Oh, okay then. (Fills in survey.)
!: Okay, do you want to do a personality test as well?
M: Sure, why not? (did test...)
!: Okay, done! Do you want to know the results of the test? Or only just the good things?
M: Uh, everything then.
!: You have a split personality. (._____. I didn't go for abortion GYM, stop saying I did.) You are practical yet down-to-earth. Meaning if you know a shortcut and the shortcut has low risks and you are confident that you won't be caught, you will not do it. (He said more but I don't think you would want to read about my personality.)
M: Oh, okay.
!: How accurate is the test if you were to rate it over 100?
M: Uh, 85? (It was rather accurate I must say.
!: Oh, it must be quite accurate then? Where did the 15marks go then?
M: Oh, it's not like the inaccuracy. Maybe it's just because it's not detailed enough.
!: You want to know more I can tell you more! I'll contact you and you can come down to listen to me for an hour. With your mother.
M: o.O
!: Or if your mum doesn't want to come along, I can go to your house too. I know it's hard for a complete stranger to go up to their houses but you can tell them a white lie. Say I am recommended by a friend.
M: o.O
!: So when can I contact you to ask you about the timings?
M: Uh, I'll contact you then. I have your namecard. (He shoved it to me at some point in time)
!: Okay, I'll be here till Sunday. (blah blah blah blah...)

So the moral of the story is?

People from (?) groups cannot be trusted. I wanted to do a good deed cuz it's hard getting people to stop and write some stupid surveys but in the end, he's still the usual profit-motivated salesman. I saved his number as REJECT CALL, and prayed hard he won't call my house. I don't know, I hate people cheating me like that though he didn't really cheat me lah. I just felt that he made use of my compassion (yes, I am compassionate. HAHA.), and I don't really like that. Sigh. I fully understand that he was doing his job, but I just feel cheated. .______.

Alright, that's a post for you. I won't be going near the interchange these days until Sunday is over! (: And you better stay far far from that place too. It's terrible.

MOF2 signs off. She just lost on Viwawa Daidee again. :(
